Detailed minutes and support material process documents from the first public convening for Groundstory at Dancemakers in Toronto on May 3, 2018 are now available for download from our resource repository. The image above features a summary of the Toronto participants’ perceptions and experience with gentrification (as they each individually define it) at home. On a scale of 1 to 5 (with 5 being high, or strongly agree), the respondents rated: “My neighbourhood is being/has been gentrified” as 4.4, “I have helped to gentrify my neighbourhood” as 3.5, and “I have been adversely impacted by gentrification” as 3.0.
