A gathering of Black, Indigenous, Brown and people of colour to explore what “digital justice” looks like in the arts and culture, in relation to their own communities. We come together to discuss how we might advocate and further the interests of social justice and build momentum, to emerge artists, producers, and cultural workers as influencers in the digital age. Also learning together on digital competency, so we can better understand the concerns and issues facing our communities.
Nasma Ahmed is a technologist based in the city we now know as Toronto. Nasma is currently the Director of the Digital Justice Lab, an initiative focused on building towards a more just and equitable digital future.
