The second advisory convening in West Toronto will continue to work towards identifying a common agenda and a theory of change to direct Groundstory’s desired 10-year mandate to uproot the adverse effects of gentrification on arts and culture workers and other low-income communities across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. This includes interventions to address increasing income precarity, the lack of affordable shelter, and the loss of relevant, accessible spaces of work for diverse communities.
