ArtsPond is delighted to welcome three new faces to our team! Reach out and say hello to Kendra Miller, Hana Glaser, Megan Wilk (inset image left to right). They are each post-graduate students in arts and culture administration at Humber Institute for Technology and Advanced Learning. Kendra, Hana and Megan join us for a winter internship to apply their growing skills in a real-world setting. You will be hearing more from these future leaders of tomorrow!
Kendra Miller is a recent graduate from Western University where she double-majored in Women’s Studies and Popular Music. Kendra is passionate about social equity through the arts, and specifically integrating queer and feminist practices through community engagement. She is also a songwriter/producer and budding plant enthusiast. Kendra can be reached at kendra@artspond.com.
Hana Glaser is a recent graduate from Ryerson University’s Creative Industries program where she specialized in curatorial practices and interior design. Influenced by her community and her surroundings Hana is very passionate about social justice and social equity. Her goal is to make the arts more accessible and diverse in terms of representation. Megan Wilk received a Fine Arts Baccalaureate in 2017 from Concordia University. With studies focused primarily on visual arts and art history, her experience has continually led towards an equity seeking, multi-disciplinary perspective. She has an extensive history of volunteer experience working with organizations such as the Robert McLaughlin Gallery, Nuit Blanche Toronto, Toronto Biennial, imagineNATIVE Film and Media Arts Festival, and the Inuit Art Foundation.
