We are delighted to welcome three new faces to our team! Zoe Barclay-Wright, Erin Maxfield, and Jenneen Shortreed are post-graduate students in arts and culture administration at Humber Institute for Technology and Advanced Learning. They each join us for a winter internship to apply their growing skills in a real-world setting. You will be hearing from these leaders of tomorrow in the coming days!
Zoe Barclay-Wright holds a B.A. in Drama from Queen’s University at Kingston and enjoyed working in stage management and marketing with the Dan School of Drama and Music. She is happy to be back in Toronto. She is currently volunteering at the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Museum of Contemporary Art and is loving every minute of it.
Erin Maxfield is a Toronto-based arts worker with a background in stage management and the performing arts. She graduated from the University of Guelph with a degree in theatre studies. Erin is passionate about community-engaged arts, collective creation, and Canadian culture, and she is looking forward to learning and developing new skills working alongside the team at ArtsPond.
Jenneen Shortreed received her BFA from OCAD University in Criticism and Curatorial Practice. During her third year of study, she participated in the Mobility Exchange Program at the Winchester School of Art, UK. She has extensive experience working with a number of arts organizations, such as MacDonald Stewart Art Centre, XPACE Cultural Centre, ARTsmart, and One Hour Empire.
