What is the role of arts organisations like ArtsPond to help strengthen access to care for equity-seeking groups in Canadian arts and culture?
This is the guiding question for Caring Cultures, a new creative thought residency to collective envision what a care-centered economy and ecology looks like in arts and culture from Winter to Fall 2023.
Register to join an information session on Thursday, September 29 at 12 to 1 pm Eastern to learn more about this project and how you might be involved. In addition to fees for participating residents, we will be recruiting a Knowledge Lead (a $45,000 position) to help engage the community and share wisdom throughout the residency.
All positions prioritize Indigenous, Racialized, or Disabled arts workers who also live and work outside of the core in the Greater Toronto Area.
Caring Cultures is made possible with generous support from Canada Council for the Arts’ Sector Innovation and Development program.
